2001 HARDTOP Z06

This Zo6 hardtop is the first of its kind with 385-hp and a unique 6-speed manual transmission overdrive. The transmission featured more aggressive gearing for quicker acceleration, and more usable torque at variable speeds.

The Goodyear Tires on the ZO6 are an inch wider than standard tires front and rear, but 23 pounds lighter. The ZO6 also features a windshield and backlight made of thinner glass and a titanium exhaust system to reduce its weight by nearly 40 pounds.

The ZO6 was awarded the 2001 “Automobile of the Year” honors by Automobile Magazine and the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada gave it its 2001 “Car of the Year Award.” This Corvette came straight from the factory to the collection.
